For three main reasons, many people believe that hypnosis does not actually work. The last reason why there is no fundamental good in hypnosis is that there is no way to measure the benefits. There are no readings, no date or indices to refer to at all and because of this, there is no exact science to consider and measure the tangible benefits.

What you get is the perceived results, which can be anything from the mind convincing itself that there has been some sort of progress.
